I have enjoyed playing pinball all my life. I obtained
my first pinball machine through marriage. It was an Atlas
Gottlieb machine, electrical mechanical from 1959, and I had a
great time with it.
However, since the summer of 2002, I have gone nuts. With the help
of the Internet and
friends like Dennis DeLong, I have become a bit of an expert. I can
now do complete repair of circuit boards, troubleshooting components
on circuit boards. In one machine, a Williams Lucky
7 (system 3) I replaced every single (stinking) IC socket, plus
the board interconnects in order to get the machine to work. So now
I consider myself to be a bit of an expert on the repair of solid
state (SS) machines.
